Dr Neale Mulligan

Dr Neale Mulligan is a highly dedicated General Ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care services to patients in the Port Macquarie region. Dr Mulligan completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of New South Wales, graduating with Honours in 1983. He then undertook specialised ophthalmic training in Sydney and furthered his clinical expertise in London. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (FRANZCO) and maintains active professional memberships with the American Academy of Ophthalmologists as an international member, as well as the Australian Medical Association.

Throughout his career, Dr Mulligan has developed particular clinical interests in cataract surgery, oculoplastic surgery, and glaucoma management. He is also highly skilled in treating medical retinal conditions, including the administration of intravitreal treatments, and performing pterygium surgery. In addition to his clinical work, he serves as a Clinical Lecturer and a Supervisor of Registrars, contributing to the education of future medical professionals.
