Dr Natalie Carnell

Dr Natalie Carnell is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, holistic care to patients of all ages. With a strong focus on preventative health, she strives to support individuals and families in achieving long-term well-being. Dr Carnell believes in a patient-centred approach, ensuring that each individual receives personalised and reassuring medical guidance tailored to their unique health journey.

Dr Carnell completed her medical education at the University of Queensland, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2009. Prior to her medical studies, she obtained a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Nutrition and Dietetics. She went on to complete her postgraduate training across various medical specialties at a major metropolitan hospital. Dr Carnell has been dedicated to family medicine for many years and achieved her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2019.

Before embarking on her career as a General Practitioner, Dr Carnell practised as a Dietitian in both community and hospital settings. This unique background enhances her clinical practice, allowing her to integrate nutritional expertise and holistic strategies into her patient care. She is particularly passionate about mental health, women's health, and antenatal care. As a mother herself, she takes great pleasure in supporting new mothers and families through the rewarding yet challenging stages of early parenthood.
