Dr Narthani Rasendran is a dedicated and compassionate Specialist General Practitioner who is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare to her patients. Before focusing on family medicine, Dr Rasendran gained extensive clinical experience across a diverse range of medical disciplines. Her professional journey includes working as a postgraduate trainee in general medicine, as well as serving as a registrar in anaesthesia and intensive care. She has also worked as an Emergency Medical Registrar within a major local health district and as a Career Medical Officer in a private rehabilitation hospital. This broad clinical background equips her with a robust foundation of knowledge, allowing her to confidently manage complex medical situations and provide exceptional care in General Practice.

Dr Rasendran completed her medical education at the University of Colombo in Sri Lanka, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with Second Upper Honours in 2009. To further her professional standing in Australia, she obtained her Australian Medical Council (AMC) Certificate in 2015. She is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and continuing professional development.
