Dr Nam Tran

Dr Nam Tran is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages. Known for his holistic approach to healthcare, Dr Tran combines clinical expertise with genuine empathy to support his patients' overall wellbeing. He is passionate about working across all areas of medicine, ensuring that individuals and families receive personalised and high-quality medical attention.

Dr Tran completed his medical education at the University of New South Wales, graduating in 2002 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) alongside a Bachelor of Science in Medicine with Honours. Committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice, he obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). He began consulting as a General Practitioner in 2005, establishing a strong foundation in community-based medicine.

With a broad range of clinical interests, Dr Tran particularly enjoys focusing on paediatrics, men's health, and mental health. His professional dedication extends beyond community practice; in 2008, he joined the Australian Army Reserve, serving part-time as an Army Medical Officer. This experience has reinforced his values of resilience, service, and discipline, which he integrates into his daily patient care. Outside of his medical practice, Dr Tran is an advocate for physical fitness and enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, and visiting the beach.
