Dr Naheed Muzaffar

Dr Naheed Muzaffar is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality healthcare to individuals and families. With a patient-centred approach, she focuses on delivering personalised care that addresses the unique physical and emotional needs of each patient. Dr Muzaffar thoroughly enjoys the diverse challenges and variety that General Practice offers, striving to foster long-term relationships built on trust and mutual respect.

Dr Muzaffar obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Dhaka University in 1993. After relocating to Australia, she successfully completed her Australian Medical Council examination and undertook extensive hospital training across various departments, including emergency medicine, paediatrics, geriatrics, rehabilitation, vascular surgery, orthopaedics, and obstetrics and gynaecology. She entered General Practice in 2005 and was awarded her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2008. To further her expertise in paediatric care, she also obtained a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) in 2018.

Throughout her career, Dr Muzaffar has developed a strong clinical interest in chronic disease management, particularly in supporting patients with Type II diabetes, asthma, and hypertension and its associated complications. She is highly passionate about women's health, children's health, and preventive medicine, working closely with patients to implement effective health promotion strategies and care plans. Additionally, she is skilled in performing minor clinical procedures, ensuring that her patients receive well-rounded and accessible medical care.
