Dr Naheed Kanji

Dr Naheed Kanji is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. Dr Kanji completed her medical education and training in the United States, where she undertook her residency and achieved board certification in Family Medicine at Emory University in Atlanta in 2016. Demonstrating her commitment to global medical standards, she holds active medical licences in both Australia and the United States. In addition to her medical degree, she holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Public Health. She became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2018 and maintains active professional memberships that reflect her dedication to continuous professional development.

Prior to embarking on her medical career, Dr Kanji gained extensive experience working in cancer prevention at the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), a prominent public health agency in the United States. This background has deeply informed her clinical practice, fostering a strong interest in preventative health, cancer prevention, and skin cancer screening. Her broad clinical expertise spans women's health, paediatrics, weight management, occupational health, and cosmetic medicine. She also maintains active research interests in infectious diseases and preventative medicine, and has been published in peer-reviewed medical journals.
