Dr Nabil Siddique

Dr Nabil Siddique is a highly qualified Consultant Gastroenterologist who provides comprehensive care for patients experiencing a wide range of digestive disorders. He specialises in all aspects of luminal gastroenterology, with a particular focus on inflammatory bowel diseases, general gastroenterology, and clinical nutrition. Dr Siddique is dedicated to delivering patient-centred, high-quality care, ensuring that individuals feel supported and empowered throughout their treatment journey.

Dr Siddique completed his undergraduate medical education at the University of London. He then undertook extensive postgraduate specialist training in gastroenterology in South London, followed by an advanced fellowship in Perth, Western Australia. He successfully passed his Specialty Certificate Examination in Gastroenterology in 2013 and was awarded his Certificate of Completion of Training in 2016. Dr Siddique is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP).

Throughout his career, Dr Siddique has held significant clinical leadership roles in both the United Kingdom and Australia. He previously served as a Consultant Gastroenterologist and joint Clinical Lead for Inflammatory Bowel Diseases at a major university hospital in Wales, where he developed advanced intestinal failure services and implemented innovative digital portals to enhance patient care. After relocating to Australia, he continued his leadership work as a Clinical Lead for Inflammatory Bowel Diseases and Safety and Quality at a prominent health service in Brisbane. He is highly skilled in performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including gastroscopies and colonoscopies, and maintains rigorous standards through regular clinical audits.
