Dr Misha Sahu

Dr. Misha Sahu is an experienced Paediatric Consultant, with a background in both domestic and global settings. Passionate about promoting healthy living, Dr. Sahu supports evidence-based practices. She finds fulfilment in guiding and educating families on their journey through the highs and lows of parenthood. From newborn care to the growth, development, and handling of both uncomplicated and intricate childhood diseases, Dr. Sahu offers comprehensive patient care.

She graduated with Honours from The University of New South Wales, and went on to secure her Fellowship at The Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Her early experiences in paediatrics were acquired at The Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network. Subsequently, Dr. Sahu spent a decade in Dubai, UAE, serving in hospitals and private healthcare centers within the expat community. This tenure provided her with an extensive understanding of the treatment of children and families from a myriad of cultural backgrounds and expectations.

Dr. Sahu provides medical attention to patients starting from infancy and spanning through adolescence, covering growth, development, and the handling of both common and complicated childhood health issues. Her area of care spans several areas, such as newborn care, handling issues related to sleep and settling, and carrying out wellness checks for infants with a particular focus on feeding and growth patterns. Additionally, she manages cases of infant gastro-oesophageal reflux, offers treatments for asthma and allergies, assists with problems related to constipation and abdominal pain, and deals with various skin rashes.
