Dr Michelle Harrison

Dr Michelle Harrison is a highly dedicated Medical Oncologist and Senior Staff Specialist based in Camperdown, Australia. She specialises in the comprehensive management of patients diagnosed with gynaecological and renal cancers. With a patient-centred approach, Dr Harrison is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care, working closely within multidisciplinary teams to ensure that each patient receives a tailored and co-ordinated treatment plan.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Harrison is actively involved in clinical trials and research, with a particular interest in rare gynaecological cancers. She has also played a key role in the development of mainstream genetic testing within the oncology setting, helping patients and their families understand genetic risk factors and access appropriate screening. Her dedication to advancing cancer care through research ensures her patients have access to the latest therapeutic developments.

Dr Harrison completed her medical education at the University of New South Wales, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (Medicine) and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with Honours in 1997. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Demonstrating a strong commitment to her field, she is an active member of the Australia New Zealand Gynaecological Oncology Group, where she has contributed to various committees, including serving as the Chair of the Annual Scientific Meeting organising committee and participating in the Cervical Cancer Tumour Working Group.
