Dr Michele McGrath

Dr Michele McGrath is a dedicated and highly skilled Specialist General Practitioner who provides comprehensive primary healthcare to individuals and families. With a patient-centred approach, she is committed to delivering high-quality medical care that focuses on preventative medicine and long-term well-being. Dr McGrath has a diverse range of clinical interests, allowing her to support patients through all stages of life, from infancy to older age.

Her clinical expertise spans several key areas of medicine, with a particular passion for women's and children's health, including antenatal shared care. In addition to general family medicine, Dr McGrath has undertaken advanced training in skin cancer detection and surgical management, as well as aesthetic medicine. This specialised knowledge enables her to offer thorough skin checks, diagnose and treat various skin conditions, and perform precise minor surgical procedures.

Dr McGrath obtained her medical degree (MBBCh) from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, in 1997. She subsequently completed a postgraduate Diploma in Child Health with the College of Medicine of South Africa in 1999. After relocating to Australia, she earned her Australian Medical Certificate in 2007 and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2013. She is an active member of the Australian Medical Association and the Australasian College of Aesthetic Medicine. Additionally, she contributes to the future of the medical profession as a Clinical Senior Lecturer, teaching medical students at the University of Wollongong.
