Dr Michael Wheeler

Dr Michael Wheeler is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing high-quality, personalised care. He has had a strong passion for General Practice from an early age, which continues to guide his clinical work. Dr Wheeler places great importance on creating a safe, inclusive, and non-judgemental environment for all patients, ensuring that every individual feels understood and supported throughout their healthcare journey. He values building strong therapeutic relationships and delivering evidence-based care that aligns with current clinical guidelines.

Dr Wheeler completed his undergraduate studies, earning a Bachelor of Science, before obtaining his postgraduate Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2011. Following his graduation, he undertook his residency to gain broad clinical experience across multiple medical specialties. He completed his formal General Practice training and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2017.

Throughout his career, Dr Wheeler has developed a diverse range of clinical interests. He is particularly passionate about preventative medicine, health screening, and chronic disease management. After working in Brisbane, he relocated to Sydney to continue his work in primary care. He enjoys the variety of presentations encountered in daily practice and is dedicated to supporting patients of all ages and backgrounds, with a strong focus on inclusive healthcare.
