Dr Michael Parry

Dr Michael Parry is a dedicated and highly regarded General Paediatrician who provides comprehensive, specialist medical care for infants, children, and adolescents. Based in Toowoomba, he is committed to delivering reassuring and family-centred care, supporting young patients from birth through to their transition into adulthood. Dr Parry focuses on creating a welcoming environment where families feel supported, ensuring that each child receives personalised attention tailored to their unique developmental and medical needs.

With a broad range of clinical interests, Dr Parry manages all aspects of general paediatric care, including acute illnesses and chronic conditions such as asthma, allergies, diabetes, epilepsy, and genetic disorders. He has a particular interest in neonatal medicine, paediatric emergency medicine, and haematology/oncology. Additionally, a significant portion of his practice is dedicated to behavioural and developmental paediatrics, where he assists families in navigating complex conditions such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and developmental delay. He works collaboratively with local allied health professionals, including Psychologists, Speech Therapists, and Occupational Therapists, to ensure holistic care.

Dr Parry completed his secondary education in the United Kingdom, where he subsequently obtained his medical degree, receiving his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB). He undertook extensive postgraduate training in paediatrics, which included tertiary training at major children's hospitals in Brisbane and the United Kingdom, as well as gaining valuable experience working in regional centres across Queensland. Dr Parry is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and maintains active professional memberships, including with the Australasian Society for Developmental Paediatrics, ensuring his practice remains aligned with the latest advancements in paediatric medicine.
