Dr Khalid Hassan

Dr. Khalid Hassan brings over 20 years of international experience to his paediatric practice. He has worked in hospitals across Ireland, the UK, and Australia, gaining experience in both rural and urban settings as well as in private and public practice. Most recently, he served as a Senior Consultant Paediatrician at Goulburn Valley Health.

Dr. Hassan is an Honorary Fellow at Melbourne University and holds fellowships with several prestigious institutions, including the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (United Kingdom), and the Royal College of Physicians (Ireland). He has also been an examiner for the University of Sydney, Melbourne University, and the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Over the years, he has taught many medical students and nurses, and has published numerous scientific articles in his field.

Dr. Hassan believes it is a privilege to care for his patients and their families. He adopts a holistic approach to healthcare, understanding the interconnected factors that influence a child's well-being. He is committed to involving families in the care process, delivering compassionate and effective care. Dr. Hassan believes that good communication is key to providing excellent patient care.

His areas of special interest include autism, anxiety, ADHD, asthma, eczema, bedwetting, constipation, general paediatrics, and developmental and behavioural concerns.
