Dr Michael Lowe

Dr Michael Lowe is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive primary care to patients on Sydney's Northern Beaches. Having grown up in the local area, he possesses a deep understanding of the community's healthcare needs. Dr Lowe is committed to delivering patient-centred care, focusing on long-term health outcomes and fostering strong, reassuring relationships with those under his care.

Dr Lowe completed his undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Science (Advanced) before pursuing his medical degree. He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Sydney University in 2007. To further his expertise in primary care, he achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, demonstrating his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of general practice.

Throughout his career, Dr Lowe has gained diverse clinical experience across various settings. He spent several years working in rural New South Wales, where he provided essential medical services to Aboriginal communities in regional towns and held a position as a Visiting Medical Officer at a local hospital. Upon returning to Sydney, he continued his dedicated work as a General Practitioner, utilising his broad clinical background to support patients through all stages of life.

With a broad scope of practice, Dr Lowe has developed particular clinical interests in preventative health and the management of chronic conditions. He is highly skilled in conducting comprehensive health assessments, providing travel medicine advice, and administering travel vaccinations. Additionally, his experience in rural medicine has given him a strong foundation in Indigenous health, and he regularly assists patients with men's health concerns, ensuring a holistic approach to well-being.
