Dr Michael Basil Theophilos is a highly dedicated and experienced General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a broad clinical background spanning both metropolitan and regional settings, he is committed to supporting patients through all stages of life. Dr Theophilos focuses on delivering evidence-based medical care with a reassuring and professional approach, ensuring that each patient receives personalised attention tailored to their unique health needs.

Throughout his career, Dr Theophilos has developed a diverse range of clinical interests. He is particularly passionate about child and adolescent health, healthy ageing, and men's health. Additionally, he possesses significant expertise in managing metabolic and endocrine disorders, with a focus on lipid management and weight management. His clinical skills also extend to dermatological care, including the assessment of various skin conditions and the non-cosmetic removal of skin cancers and other lesions.

Dr Theophilos holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and a Bachelor of Science with Honours (BSc (Hons)), and he is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). In 1998, he completed his PhD in the field of molecular genetics. Committed to expanding his medical expertise, he has undertaken additional training in chemical pathology and attained membership by examination of the Australasian Association of Clinical Biochemistry. His professional background also includes the supervision of medical students and General Practice Trainees, alongside providing emergency medicine and anaesthetics services.
