Dr Elena Fairbairn

Dr Elena Fairbairn is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing high-quality, comprehensive care to patients of all ages. Dr Fairbairn has a broad range of clinical interests, with a particular focus on women's health, gender-affirming hormone therapy, and general medicine.

Dr Fairbairn graduated from the University of Queensland in 2002, obtaining her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). Following her graduation, she gained valuable experience working in hospital medicine, focusing particularly on Anaesthetics and Intensive Care. She went on to complete her specialist training, attaining fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2016. Additionally, she holds a Diploma in Child Health, reflecting her dedication to paediatric care.

In her daily practice, Dr Fairbairn provides comprehensive care across all aspects of general medicine. She is highly skilled in managing women's health, including antenatal shared care and medical terminations. Her clinical expertise also extends to gender-affirming hormone therapy, child health, and preventative medicine.
