Dr Barwal completed her medical degree, obtaining her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in India, where she gained valuable clinical experience working in the healthcare sector. After relocating to Australia, she successfully obtained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). She is a member of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, reflecting her commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical practice.

Throughout her career, Dr Barwal has developed a broad range of clinical interests within family medicine. She is particularly passionate about women's health, offering services such as family planning, as well as the insertion and removal of contraceptive devices like Implanon and Mirena.
