Dr Matthew Soohan Kim is a dedicated General Practitioner who is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care. He combines modern, evidence-based medicine with a patient-centred approach, utilising personalised treatment plans to help patients achieve optimal health outcomes. Dr Soohan Kim believes in the importance of building strong, trusting relationships with his patients to support them through every stage of their healthcare journey.

Dr Soohan Kim completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Western Sydney University, qualifying in 2013. Committed to continuous learning, he went on to obtain a postgraduate Master of Medicine in Clinical Epidemiology from the University of Sydney, alongside a Diploma of Child Health. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, demonstrating his high standard of clinical knowledge and expertise.

Before transitioning into general practice, Dr Soohan Kim gained comprehensive clinical experience across a diverse range of medical fields. He completed rotations in respiratory medicine, gastroenterology, cardiology, haematology, and neurology at major metropolitan hospitals, followed by intensive training in emergency medicine to refine his acute care and minor procedural skills. Additionally, he has shared his knowledge with the next generation of medical professionals, serving as an Associate Conjoint Lecturer at a university clinical school.

With a broad clinical focus, Dr Soohan Kim is particularly passionate about family medicine, preventative healthcare, and the management of chronic diseases. He is a strong advocate for patient education, ensuring that individuals are fully informed and empowered to make proactive decisions regarding their health and well-being.
