Dr Matthew Shaw

Dr Matthew Shaw is a dedicated Consultant Psychiatrist who provides comprehensive mental health care to patients in Melbourne. He specialises in child, adolescent, and young adult psychiatry, offering support to individuals and families navigating complex emotional and psychological challenges. Dr Shaw is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care, tailoring his therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each patient. He subsequently completed a Master of Psychiatry at the University of Melbourne and earned an Advanced Certificate in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr Shaw completed his specialist psychiatric training at prominent metropolitan hospitals, gaining extensive experience in child, adolescent, infant, and perinatal psychiatry. He achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in 2010 and is an Accredited Member of the Faculty of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
