Dr Matthew Lam is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care to individuals of all demographics. With a clinical approach focused on holistic and preventative medicine, he is committed to fostering long-term relationships with his patients to support their ongoing health journeys. Dr Lam is highly skilled in managing both acute illnesses and complex chronic health conditions, ensuring that each patient receives personalised and reassuring care.

With a strong interest in chronic disease management, Dr Lam is particularly attentive to diagnosing and initiating treatment for newly identified chronic conditions. His clinical expertise extends to performing simple medical procedures within a general practice setting. Additionally, he has a keen interest in diabetes care, having worked as a General Practitioner Visiting Medical Officer at a specialised diabetes clinic. Through this role, he has developed advanced skills in managing diabetes, including the titration of insulin regimes, and collaborating within multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimise patient outcomes.

Dr Lam completed his medical education to earn his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. He has since attained a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of general practice. Prior to his current role, he gained valuable clinical experience working across major metropolitan hospitals and regional clinics in New South Wales. Dr Lam also serves as a Clinical Advisor to digital health platforms, advocating for improved communication pathways and advice and guidance models to enhance patient safety and care continuity.
