Dr Marlo Roberts

Dr Marlo Roberts is a dedicated and highly qualified General Practitioner who specialises in women's and children's health. With a compassionate and holistic approach to patient care, she focuses on supporting women through every stage of life, from preconception and pregnancy to postpartum care and menopause. Dr Roberts is committed to providing reassuring, evidence-based medical care that addresses the unique physical and emotional needs of her patients.

Dr Roberts completed her postgraduate medical studies at the University of Queensland, graduating in 2008. She subsequently undertook her specialist General Practice training and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2013. Demonstrating a strong commitment to maternal and child health, she obtained a Diploma in Child Health from the University of Sydney and is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. Additionally, she became an accredited Neuroprotective Developmental Care Practitioner in 2019, specialising in the 'Possums' programmes for infant care.

As an active member of the medical community, Dr Roberts maintains professional affiliations with several key organisations. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and a member of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine. Her other professional memberships include the Lactation Consultants of Australia and New Zealand, the Australian Breastfeeding Association, and the Australasian Menopause Society. In her clinical practice, Dr Roberts provides comprehensive support for a wide range of concerns. She is particularly passionate about assisting women with menstrual disorders, gynaecological issues, and menopause management. As an accredited Antenatal Shared Care Provider, she works closely with expectant mothers throughout their pregnancy journeys. Her expertise as a Lactation Consultant and her training in neuroprotective developmental care allow her to offer specialised support for postpartum mothers and infants, addressing breastfeeding challenges and early developmental needs.
