Dr Mark Wyatt

Dr Mark Wyatt is a highly dedicated and experienced Neurophysiologist and Neuroscientist who has focused his career exclusively on Clinical Neurophysiology for over two decades. He is committed to providing patients with precise diagnostic assessments to help identify and manage complex neurological conditions. With a patient-centred approach, Dr Wyatt ensures that individuals undergoing electrodiagnostic testing feel comfortable, informed, and reassured throughout their clinical journey.

In his clinical practice, Dr Wyatt specialises in performing Nerve Conduction Studies and assisting with electromyography (EMG) and quantitative electromyography analysis. He is also highly proficient in a wide range of other advanced electrodiagnostic techniques, including electroencephalography (EEG), somatosensory evoked potentials (SSEP), visual evoked potentials (VEP), and brainstem auditory evoked potentials (BAEP). Dr Wyatt has a particular clinical interest in focal peripheral neuropathies, and he actively works on developing innovative study methodologies and protocols to enhance diagnostic accuracy and improve patient outcomes.

Dr Wyatt completed his tertiary education with a Bachelor of Exercise Science. He is a member of the Association of Neurophysiology Scientists of Australia (ANSA), reflecting his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professional practice. In addition to his clinical work, Dr Wyatt is an active educator who trains Neurophysiology Scientists, medical students, and advanced neurological trainees. He also holds the academic title of Lecturer at the School of Medicine at Griffith University, contributing to the education of the next generation of medical professionals.
