Dr Mark Tzanev

Dr Mark Tzanev is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. He strongly believes in the value of continuity of care, supporting individuals and families through all stages of life. With a clinical approach focused on preventative medicine, Dr Tzanev works collaboratively with his patients to manage complex medical conditions and promote long-term health and well-being.

Before transitioning to community-based medicine, Dr Tzanev gained extensive clinical experience working across major metropolitan hospitals, including specialised paediatric and women's health facilities. He subsequently spent a significant portion of his career working as a country General Practitioner on the Mid North Coast, where he managed a diverse range of complex health conditions and provided essential care to regional communities. This broad clinical background has equipped him with the skills necessary to address a wide array of medical concerns.

Dr Tzanev holds a Doctor of Medicine degree and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Demonstrating a strong commitment to clinical excellence and continuous professional development, he has also undertaken advanced training in dermatology and skin health. He is recognised as an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor by the Skin Cancer College Australasia, allowing him to offer specialised expertise in skin cancer detection and management.
