Dr Mark Rikard-Bell

Dr Mark Rikard-Bell is a highly dedicated General Practitioner who has committed his career to delivering comprehensive, patient-centred healthcare. With a passion for rural medicine, he provides a wide range of medical services to support individuals and families throughout their health journeys. His reassuring and professional approach ensures that patients receive the highest standard of care, tailored to their unique medical needs.

Throughout his distinguished career, Dr Rikard-Bell has developed diverse clinical interests that allow him to address complex patient needs. He possesses extensive expertise in obstetrics and gynaecology, having supported many families through antenatal and postnatal care. Additionally, he is highly skilled in anaesthetics and diving medicals. Recognising the growing needs of his patient community, he has also undertaken advanced training in skin cancer management and procedural surgical skills, enabling him to perform precise skin assessments and minor surgical interventions.

Dr Rikard-Bell obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Sydney, qualifying in 1978. To further his clinical capabilities, he earned a Diploma from the College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of South Africa, as well as a Diploma from the Skin Cancer College. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and a Fellow of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM), reflecting his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence.
