Dr Mark Hardy

Dr Mark Hardy is a dedicated General Practitioner and Addiction Medicine Specialist who provides compassionate, patient-centred care. He has a profound clinical interest in chronic disease management, toxicology, and mental health, with a particular focus on supporting individuals experiencing substance use and behavioural disorders. Dr Hardy is committed to delivering evidence-based treatments that promote long-term recovery and well-being, ensuring that every patient receives personalised and reassuring support.

With a diverse professional background, Dr Hardy has held various clinical and leadership positions in both public and private healthcare settings. He has extensive experience working as a Staff Specialist and consulting physician across multiple hospital environments. In addition to his clinical work, Dr Hardy has contributed to public health initiatives through his involvement with government advisory committees and international health bodies, where he has assisted in developing training programmes for pharmacological and psychosocial treatments. He is also a passionate educator who has presented research and provided medical education to healthcare professionals globally.

Dr Hardy completed his medical education at the University of Sydney, where he concurrently obtained his medical degree alongside a Bachelor of Science (Medical) majoring in Toxicology. To further his clinical expertise, he obtained a Diploma of the Royal Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Dr Hardy is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and a Fellow of the Australasian Chapter of Addiction Medicine with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
