Dr Maritza Font Echevarria

Dr Maritza Font Echevarria is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. Originally from Cuba, she brings a wealth of international medical knowledge and a warm, reassuring approach to her clinical practice. Dr Font Echevarria is committed to supporting patients of all ages and backgrounds, offering personalised healthcare solutions that focus on long-term well-being and preventative health.

With a broad range of clinical interests, Dr Font Echevarria specialises in family medicine, with a particular focus on women's health, obstetrics, and paediatric care. She is highly experienced in managing child and family health, ensuring that young patients receive a supportive start in life. Additionally, she is passionate about geriatric medicine and preventative health care, working closely with older patients to manage chronic conditions and promote healthy ageing.

Dr Font Echevarria earned her Doctor of Medicine in Cuba before relocating to Australia to continue her medical career. She holds a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM). Alongside her clinical work, she is deeply committed to medical education and has actively contributed to the profession by serving as a Medical Student Supervisor.
