To further her clinical expertise, she pursued postgraduate training in the United Kingdom, obtaining a Diploma in Child Health from London and a Diploma in Obstetrics from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in London. Before establishing her career as a General Practitioner in 1980, she gained valuable clinical experience working across Australia, the United Kingdom, and South Africa.
