Dr Botha completed her medical training at the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa, qualifying as a Medical Doctor with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) in 1990. After gaining valuable clinical experience in hospital and private practice settings, she relocated to Australia in 2008. She successfully attained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2010, demonstrating her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence.

Throughout her career, Dr Botha has developed a broad range of clinical interests. She is particularly passionate about women's health, paediatric medicine, and family health.
