Dr Mariam Joseph

Dr Mariam Joseph is a dedicated and highly qualified Geriatrician and Consultant Physician who specialises in the comprehensive care of older adults. With a compassionate and patient-centred approach, she focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of complex medical conditions associated with ageing. Dr Joseph is committed to helping her patients maintain their independence, health, and overall quality of life during their later years.

Her clinical practice encompasses a wide range of age-related health concerns, with a particular focus on managing complex geriatric syndromes. Dr Joseph has extensive experience in addressing issues such as frailty, immobility, loss of balance, and incontinence. Additionally, she provides expert care for cognitive and mental health challenges in older patients, including memory issues, impaired intellect, depression, and anxiety. Dr Joseph completed her medical education at the University of Sydney, where she obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1996.
