Dr Margaret Stellingwerff

Dr Margaret Stellingwerff is a highly dedicated General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a clinical focus centred on women's health, reproductive health, and sexual health, she supports patients through various life stages with empathy and expertise. Her clinical interests encompass contraception, fertility, period concerns, and menopause management. She is highly skilled in performing specialised procedures, including the insertion and removal of intrauterine devices (IUDs) and contraceptive implants.

Dr Stellingwerff completed her medical education at the University of New South Wales. Following her graduation, she undertook her early post-graduate training at a major tertiary hospital, gaining invaluable clinical experience across diverse medical disciplines. She holds a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, alongside a Diploma in Child Health and a Certificate of Advanced Training in Women's Health. Demonstrating her ongoing commitment to her field, she is a long-standing member of the Australasian Menopause Society.

Beyond her clinical practice, Dr Stellingwerff is deeply passionate about mentoring and training the next generation of medical professionals. She has contributed significantly to general practice education, serving as a Supervisor for doctors in training and working as a Senior Medical Educator.
