Dr Margaret Dixon

Dr Margaret Dixon is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred healthcare. With a clinical approach focused on empowering patients to make informed decisions about their health, she delivers high-quality medical care tailored to the unique needs of individuals and families. Her broad clinical background includes training in several major Sydney hospitals, a rural placement in New South Wales, and active involvement in Aboriginal health initiatives.

Dr Dixon completed her medical education with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MB BS) alongside a Bachelor of Medical Science with Honours (BMedSci(Hons)). Demonstrating her commitment to the highest standards of general medicine, she is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). This fellowship reflects her advanced training and ongoing dedication to delivering safe, evidence-based primary care.

Throughout her career, Dr Dixon has developed key areas of clinical interest, particularly in women's healthcare, paediatric medicine, and aged care. She is highly skilled in specific clinical procedures, including the administration and removal of the contraceptive implant, Implanon. Additionally, she has undertaken specialised training in skin cancer detection, utilising advanced Molemax technology to perform thorough skin checks and assist in the early diagnosis of potential skin cancers.
