Dr Mara Marchesin

Dr Mara Marchesin is a dedicated and highly compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, personalised medical care to patients of all ages. With a patient-centred approach, she focuses on preventive medicine and building long-term relationships with individuals and families to support their ongoing health and well-being. Dr Marchesin believes in delivering holistic healthcare that addresses both immediate medical concerns and long-term wellness goals.

Dr Marchesin qualified with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (Honours) from the University of Sydney in 1979. She completed her postgraduate training through a pilot General Practice training scheme associated with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners Fellowship. Her extensive training also included dedicated paediatric terms at a major children's hospital and specialised experience in developmental paediatrics within a regional child health unit.

Throughout her career, Dr Marchesin has developed a strong clinical interest and expertise in women's health and paediatrics. She provides a wide range of essential medical services, including complex and chronic disease management, routine immunisations, and travel medicine. Additionally, she is highly skilled in performing minor clinical procedures such as skin checks, skin lesion biopsies, the excision of skin lesions, cervical screening, and joint injections.
