Dr Magdy Abdou

Dr Magdy Abdou is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to individuals and families. With a clinical approach focused on empathy and thoroughness, he strives to support his patients through every stage of their health journey. Dr Abdou believes in building long-term relationships with those under his care, ensuring that patient wellbeing remains the absolute highest priority.

Dr Abdou completed his medical training in Egypt, where he obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBCh) from Monoufia University in 1999. Committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence, he later relocated to Australia and successfully attained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2021. He remains an active Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, keeping up to date with the latest advancements in primary care.

Throughout his career, Dr Abdou has developed a diverse range of clinical interests to address the comprehensive needs of his patients. He has a particular focus on chronic disease management, helping patients navigate long-term health conditions with tailored treatment plans. Additionally, he provides dedicated support in men's health, women's health, children's health, and mental health, offering a holistic approach to both physical and psychological wellbeing.
