Dr Lynsey McKinstry

Dr Lynsey McKinstry is a dedicated and thorough General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. She is committed to delivering high-quality medical services to individuals and families, ensuring a reassuring and professional experience for all her patients. With a broad clinical background, Dr McKinstry is well-equipped to address a wide range of health concerns, from acute conditions to long-term wellness management.

Throughout her career, Dr McKinstry has gained extensive experience across various medical fields, including emergency medicine, surgery, paediatrics, and geriatric medicine. She has developed a particular clinical interest in skin cancer management, including performing skin checks and excisions. Additionally, she is highly skilled in women's health, offering specialised services such as contraceptive advice, Implanon insertions, and intrauterine device insertions, including Mirena.

Dr McKinstry completed her medical degree in Northern Ireland, where she obtained her Baccalaureus Medicinae, Baccalaureus Chirurgiae and Baccalaureus in Arte Obstetricia. She also undertook her Junior Doctor training in Northern Ireland before relocating to Australia in 2014. Following her move, she gained valuable experience within the Australian hospital system and subsequently completed her specialist General Practice training on the South Coast of New South Wales, achieving her fellowship qualification in 2021.
