Dr Lynette Fong

Dr Lynette Fong is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care in Sydney. With a diverse professional background that spans both medicine and law, Dr Fong brings a unique, holistic perspective to her medical practice. She is committed to delivering individualised healthcare that addresses the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of her patients, ensuring they feel supported at every stage of their health journey.

Throughout her career, Dr Fong has developed a strong clinical focus on mental health and is an accredited General Practitioner provider of focussed psychological strategies. She works collaboratively with Clinical Psychologists and Psychiatrists to manage a broad spectrum of mental health concerns, including the preparation of detailed mental health care plans and reviews. In addition to her work in mental health, she is deeply passionate about women's health, preventative care, and chronic disease management. Dr Fong advocates for a holistic approach to wellness, frequently integrating evidence-based medical treatments with tailored lifestyle prescriptions to help patients manage long-term conditions such as diabetes and hypertension.

Dr Fong obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Queensland in 1999. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Demonstrating a broad range of intellectual pursuits, she also holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of New South Wales and a Bachelor of Asian Studies. Her diverse professional background includes working as a General Practitioner in solo and group practices across Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, and regional Central Queensland, alongside previous roles as a Medico-Legal Lawyer and a Tribunal Member.
