Dr Luan Huynh

Dr Luan Huynh is a highly qualified and dedicated Cardiologist who provides comprehensive care for patients experiencing a wide range of adult cardiovascular conditions. With a reassuring and empathetic approach, Dr Huynh focuses on delivering personalised medical experiences that help patients feel comfortable and fully in control of their health journey. His clinical practice encompasses general cardiology, with a particular emphasis on cardiac risk assessment, the management of coronary heart disease, heart failure, and cardiac arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation.

As a specialist in non-invasive cardiac imaging, Dr Huynh possesses advanced expertise in utilising modern diagnostic tools to evaluate and manage complex heart conditions. His clinical interests include the diagnosis and management of valvular heart disease, difficult-to-control hypertension, and lipid management. He is highly proficient in advanced imaging modalities, holding top-tier qualifications in CT coronary angiography and cardiac MRI, alongside extensive experience in performing echocardiography, stress echocardiography, and transoesophageal echocardiography to ensure precise and thorough patient assessments.

Dr Huynh completed his medical degree in 2001. He subsequently pursued postgraduate studies and went on to complete a PhD in cardiovascular epidemiology in 2006, contributing valuable research to peer-reviewed medical journals. Following his specialty training, he was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2009. Dr Huynh is also a Fellow of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand, a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology, and an Associate Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators. He remains actively involved in clinical research and the clinical supervision of advanced trainees in cardiac imaging.
