Dr Lise Mifsud

Dr Lise Mifsud is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care to individuals across all stages of life. With a strong commitment to supporting her patients' overall wellbeing, she delivers evidence-based medical care in a safe, respectful, and reassuring environment. While she enjoys the full breadth of family medicine, Dr Mifsud has developed a particular focus on women's health, sexual health, and reproductive medicine, helping patients navigate complex health journeys with confidence and clarity.

In her clinical practice, Dr Mifsud offers specialised support for a wide range of conditions, with a particular interest in managing hormonal transitions such as perimenopause and menopause. She provides expert guidance on contraception, including the insertion and removal of intrauterine devices (IUDs) and contraceptive implants, as well as preconception counselling, fertility investigations, and shared antenatal care. Additionally, Dr Mifsud is skilled in delivering Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBTi), offering practical, non-pharmacological strategies to help patients overcome chronic sleep difficulties and restore healthy sleep patterns.

Dr Mifsud completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours, alongside a Bachelor of Medical Science, graduating from the University of Tasmania in 2010. To further her clinical expertise, she obtained a Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and a Diploma of Child Health. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and maintains active membership with the Australian Menopause Society. Alongside her clinical work, Dr Mifsud is deeply involved in medical education, serving as a Supervisor for training registrars and working as a Head of Training and Medical Educator to help shape the next generation of General Practitioners.
