Dr Liam Dunn

Dr Liam Dunn is a highly dedicated Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecological Surgeon who provides compassionate, evidence-based care to women and their families. Based in East Toowoomba, he is committed to supporting patients through every stage of their reproductive health journey, from preconception and pregnancy to advanced gynaecological care. Dr Dunn prioritises a patient-centred approach, ensuring that each individual feels heard, respected, and fully informed about their health choices.

Dr Dunn completed his medical training at the University of Queensland, where he earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). Driven by a passion for clinical excellence and research, he also completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in obstetrics, focusing on novel strategies to minimise birth complications. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG). To further refine his surgical expertise, Dr Dunn completed a specialised Fellowship in Pelvic Surgery with a Gynaecological Oncology Unit, where he gained advanced skills in complex pelvic surgery and peri-operative care.

With a strong clinical interest in minimally invasive and robotic gynaecological surgery, Dr Dunn offers advanced treatment options for a wide range of gynaecological conditions. His areas of expertise include the management of endometriosis, adenomyosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), ovulatory dysfunction, and genital tract dysplasia. He is also highly experienced in managing high-risk pregnancies and complex birthing needs, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of both mother and baby. Alongside his private practice, Dr Dunn holds a public appointment as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, allowing him to maintain strong ties to Junior Doctor surgical training and research mentorship.
