Dr Leonie Mitchell

Dr Leonie Mitchell is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. She is committed to delivering holistic medical support, ensuring that each patient receives personalised treatment tailored to their unique health needs. With a reassuring and professional approach, Dr Mitchell supports individuals and families through all stages of life, focusing on long-term health and well-being.

Dr Mitchell graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Queensland in 2009. Following her initial medical training, she completed a Certificate in Emergency Medicine in 2012. She was awarded her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2015. Demonstrating her commitment to the medical profession, she serves on the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners New Fellows Committee and contributes to the education of future doctors by tutoring and examining medical students for the University of Queensland.

In her clinical practice, Dr Mitchell has developed a diverse range of interests, with a particular focus on Paediatrics, Preventative Medicine, and Chronic Disease Management. She is highly skilled in performing various minor procedures, including wedge resections, cervical screenings, ear syringing, and the excision of skin lesions.
