Dr Leo Tam

Dr Leo Tam is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. He believes in a holistic approach to medicine, focusing on preventative health and long-term wellbeing to support patients through all stages of life. Dr Tam enjoys the diverse nature of general practice, which allows him to build meaningful, ongoing relationships with individuals and families within the community.

Dr Tam graduated with his medical degree from the University of New South Wales in 2014. Following his graduation, he completed his hospital training across several regional and metropolitan hospitals, gaining valuable experience in various medical disciplines. He subsequently completed his specialist general practice training and was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Committed to continuous professional development, Dr Tam also holds a postgraduate Diploma in Child Health (DCH).

With a broad range of clinical interests, Dr Tam specialises in several key areas of primary care. He has a strong focus on paediatrics and adolescent medicine, providing expert care for the health and development of children and teenagers. Additionally, he is highly skilled in sports medicine and musculoskeletal medicine, helping patients manage physical injuries and maintain active lifestyles. Dr Tam is also passionate about palliative care, offering compassionate support to patients and their families during challenging times, as well as travel medicine and general preventative healthcare.
