Dr Lena Thomas

Dr Lena Thomas is a compassionate and highly skilled General Practitioner who is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centred care. Embracing a holistic approach to medicine, she combines clinical excellence with a thorough understanding of her patients' physical and emotional well-being. Dr Thomas focuses on building strong, reassuring relationships with individuals and families, guiding them through their unique health journeys with professional expertise.

Dr Thomas established her academic foundation by completing a dual Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science at the Australian National University. She then earned her medical degree, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Sydney's graduate medical programme in 2008. Following her university studies, she completed extensive clinical training at a major metropolitan teaching hospital. Dr Thomas is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and holds a Certificate in Family Planning. Demonstrating her commitment to the wider medical community, she has previously served as a Registrar Liaison Officer and continues to be actively involved in General Practitioner education.

With broad clinical experience, Dr Thomas provides specialised care across a wide range of medical fields. Her areas of clinical interest include Paediatrics, where she supports children's health and development, and Women's Health, including GP shared antenatal care. She is also highly skilled in Skin Cancer Medicine, offering detailed skin checks and management, as well as Travel Medicine and Occupational Health and Safety.
