Miss Laura Rudaks

Miss Laura Rudaks is a highly dedicated Consultant Neurologist who provides comprehensive care for patients experiencing a wide range of neurological conditions. With a deep commitment to clinical excellence, she focuses on diagnosing and managing complex disorders of the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nervous system. Miss Rudaks is known for her compassionate, patient-centred approach, ensuring that individuals receive personalised treatment plans tailored to their unique health needs.

In addition to her general neurological practice, Miss Rudaks has completed advanced subspeciality training in neurogenetics. Her clinical and research interests lie at the intersection of genomics and neurology, with a particular focus on neurogenetic disorders, ataxias, neuromuscular disorders, and Parkinson's disease. By integrating cutting-edge genomic insights into her clinical practice, she aims to provide precise diagnoses and innovative management strategies for patients with complex hereditary neurological conditions.

Miss Rudaks completed her medical training at the University of Sydney, where she earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). Committed to advancing her expertise, she also obtained a Master of Medicine in genomics and precision medicine and is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Sydney, focusing on the application of advanced genomics in diagnosing neurogenetic disorders. She is an active contributor to the global medical community, holding memberships in international research initiatives, including the Data Generation Working Group and the Monogenic Network of the Global Parkinson's Genetics Programme.
