Dr Lachlan James Mackinnon is a dedicated General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. He has a strong passion for rural medicine, delivering high-quality healthcare to regional communities. Dr Mackinnon enjoys the broad scope of rural general practice, focusing on building lasting relationships with his patients and supporting them through all stages of life.

Dr Mackinnon graduated with his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Adelaide in 2014. He went on to complete an additional year of training in anaesthetics in 2019, followed by achieving his General Practice fellowship through the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine in 2020. As a Fellow of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine, he maintains a strong commitment to professional excellence and also serves as a Board Member for the Rural Doctors' Workforce Association.

With a diverse clinical background, Dr Mackinnon has developed key areas of interest that include preventative health, men's health, and older person's health. He is also deeply committed to medical education and teaching, helping to guide the next generation of healthcare professionals.
