Throughout his career, Dr Stathis has gained diverse clinical experience across various medical settings. After completing his initial hospital training, he worked as a General Practitioner and Visiting Medical Officer in Western Australia, serving communities in both metropolitan and regional areas. Upon returning to New South Wales, he continued his work in general practice and also gained valuable experience in orthopaedics, assisting various Orthopaedic Surgeons in major private and public hospitals. This extensive background allows him to bring a wealth of knowledge and practical expertise to his daily general practice consultations.

Dr Stathis completed his medical education at the University of New South Wales, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.
