Dr Kok Ooi

Dr Kok Ooi is a highly dedicated General Practitioner who provides comprehensive and compassionate healthcare to individuals and families. With a patient-centred approach, he focuses on promoting long-term wellbeing and preventative medicine. Dr Ooi is committed to delivering high-quality medical care tailored to the unique needs of each patient, ensuring they feel supported and reassured throughout their healthcare journey.

Dr Ooi completed his medical education at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, and Bachelor of Obstetrics (BA, MBChB, BAO) in 1975. In addition to his clinical practice, he serves as a Senior Clinical Lecturer for the University of Wollongong Graduate School of Medicine. He also plays an active role in mentoring and teaching undergraduate Medical Students and Medical Registrars under the GP Synergy training programme.

Throughout his extensive career, Dr Ooi has developed a diverse range of clinical interests. He provides expert care in key areas such as Men's Health, Paediatric Medicine, and Geriatric Medicine, addressing the health concerns of patients at all stages of life. His expertise also extends to Travel Medicine, Ante-natal Care, and Corporate Medicine, allowing him to offer holistic and versatile medical support to the community.
