Dr Kiran Manya

Dr Kiran Manya is an Australian-trained Urologist who provides comprehensive care for patients in Ballarat. He is dedicated to delivering patient-centred care, focusing on clear communication and collaborative decision-making to ensure his patients feel supported throughout their treatment journey. His clinical practice encompasses a broad range of urological conditions, with a particular focus on minimally invasive surgical techniques.

Dr Manya began his healthcare career by qualifying as a Clinical Pharmacist at the University of Otago. He then pursued his medical training, graduating with Honours from the University of Sydney in 2010. To further his surgical expertise, he completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Surgical Anatomy at the University of Melbourne and a Postgraduate Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery in Strasbourg, France. Dr Manya is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Urology. He also undertook advanced fellowship training in robotic and laparoscopic surgery at high-volume centres in both the United Kingdom and France.

With extensive training in advanced surgical modalities, Dr Manya has a special interest in robotic surgery for prostate and kidney cancers. His expertise also spans general urology, uro-oncology, the management of kidney stones, and voiding dysfunction. In addition to his clinical work, he is actively involved in medical education, serving as a Supervisor for Education and Training for urology registrars, and contributes to the wider medical community through urological research.
