Dr Kieran James Talbot

Dr Kieran James Talbot is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality family medical care. With a patient-centred approach, he focuses on building long-term, trusting relationships with individuals and families to support their physical, emotional, and mental well-being. He believes in delivering holistic and preventative healthcare that is tailored to the unique needs of each patient.

Dr Talbot graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Queensland in 2016. Following his graduation, he gained extensive clinical experience working across a variety of speciality areas within regional and metropolitan hospital settings, including rehabilitation and rural health facilities. He subsequently undertook specialist fellowship training in General Practice and achieved formal accreditation as a Skin Cancer Physician through the Skin Cancer College of Australia.

In his daily practice, Dr Talbot maintains a broad interest in all aspects of family medicine. He is highly skilled in the early detection, diagnosis, and management of skin cancers and melanomas, performing complex surgical procedures such as excisions, flaps, and grafts when required. Additionally, he is deeply passionate about chronic disease management, geriatrics, paediatrics, and mental health support. He also regularly visits local aged care facilities to provide dedicated medical care to elderly patients.
