Dr Khakima Ikramova

Dr Khakima Ikramova is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care to individuals across all stages of life. Having relocated to Australia from Canada, she has gained extensive clinical experience working in various settings, including rural Queensland. Dr Ikramova is committed to evidence-based medicine, focusing on long-term health outcomes and fostering strong, supportive relationships with her patients.

With a broad scope of practice, Dr Ikramova has developed several key areas of clinical interest. She is particularly passionate about preventative and lifestyle medicine, chronic disease management, and cardiovascular risk reduction, including obesity and diabetes management. Her expertise also encompasses women's health, including antenatal shared care, as well as mental health support, travel medicine, and vaccinations. Additionally, she performs skin cancer screenings and minor skin procedures, and is experienced in Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) and WorkCover assessments.

Dr Ikramova obtained her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and subsequently completed her postgraduate training. In 2018, she was awarded her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). She actively maintains her professional development to ensure her patients receive the highest standard of care.
