Dr Kevin Cheng

Dr. Kevin Cheng is a dedicated cardiologist with a strong educational background. He graduated from Monash University in 2009 and completed his advanced training in cardiology at MonashHeart and the Royal Hobart Hospital. Driven by his passion for the field, he further pursued a fellowship in Advanced Echocardiography and Cardiac CT.

With a broad scope of expertise, Kevin adeptly manages various adult cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease and cardiac risk assessment, heart failure, valvular heart disease, hypertension, and dyslipidaemia.

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Cheng is deeply engaged in cardiovascular research. He is currently undertaking a PhD research project focused on detecting vascular inflammation using cardiac CT. His efforts have been recognised with the prestigious National Health and Medical Research Council Postgraduate Scholarship.

In addition to his medical proficiency, Kevin is fluent in Mandarin, facilitating effective communication with patients from diverse backgrounds. Outside of work, he enjoys pursuing his hobbies, which include cooking, traveling, and photography. Most importantly, he cherishes quality time spent with his young family.
