Dr Kenneth Ng

Dr Kenneth Ng is a dedicated Geriatrician who provides comprehensive, holistic, and evidence-based care to the ageing population in Toowoomba and its surrounding regions. With a clinical approach centred on optimising health outcomes and enhancing quality of life, Dr Ng specialises in the assessment and management of complex geriatric syndromes. He is committed to delivering the highest level of care to support older adults and their families through the unique challenges of ageing.

Within his practice, Dr Ng has a particular interest in the management of acute geriatric inpatients, Parkinson's disease, and movement disorders. He possesses extensive experience in addressing common geriatric syndromes, with specific expertise in polypharmacy, falls prevention, and the assessment and treatment of cognitive impairment. Additionally, his clinical focus extends to peri-operative medicine, ensuring that older patients receive tailored support before and after surgical procedures.

Dr Ng completed his dual degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) at the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom, graduating in 2006. After beginning his medical career in the UK, he relocated to Australia, where he undertook his basic training as a Physician in Townsville. He subsequently completed his advanced training in Geriatric Medicine across the Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba. In 2019, Dr Ng was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, specialising in Adult Medicine. He has also contributed to medical literature through reviews on the pharmacological management of orthostatic hypotension and Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease.
